Looking out of the window today life looks a little grey. We are all having a hard time of it at the moment. In the best of times January and February can be a little depressing but as we are constantly being told there is light on the horizon. Hopefully with the coming of spring and the vaccination programme being rolled out to ever increasing numbers of people we will at last be able to return to some sort of normality. I truly believe that out of adversity the good times will come again. We will undoubtedly take a different view on life, but perhaps it will be a positive shift in the way that we conduct our lives. I would like to think that we will be more caring and considerate to others, appreciate what people do for us and know that our real key workers and hero's are not necessarily the highly paid, high skilled, high profile, shout about it people but those that have quietly got on with things over the past months, going about their everyday jobs and keeping things going. My heart goes out to all those working in our hospitals and caring for the sick. I cannot imagine the stress and exhaustion.
At Tablier Designs we have been working on some new and exciting products, which I will be launching over the coming weeks. Our Bespoke range of aprons has been growing in popularity. It seems that there is no better way of showing love and appreciation for the special person in your life than with a truly personalised gift. I have done bees, strawberries, ladybirds, flowers, names and dates to name a few. Each piece is hand embroidered and I have enjoyed working with clients to make sure that each apron is unique. I recently had an enquiry for a 35th birthday apron that two friends wanted to commission - the scope for individuality is endless!
My snowdrops are poking their heads out of the ground and the daffodils are in bud. Onwards and upwards.
